DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

q Receive and dispense materials in accordance with approved procedure. Dispense parts, equipment, and consumables to employees.
q Obtain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and USDA approval documents for chemicals used in the department and prepare labels for chemical containers.
q Resolve issues involving over & short shipments, damaged goods, returns, unmarked, or incorrectly marked goods, and track shipments, when necessary.
q Label material and stock items in proper location, pick material and deliver to user upon request. Create stock locations, a needed.
q Perform cycle counts of materials and supplies, as directed.
q Communicate with Accounting Department regarding Maintenance Department billing questions or disputes.
q Complete and enter received requisitions. Assist in reporting status of physical inventory results to management. Assist in maintaining CMMS database.
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
The job candidate must have a High School Diploma, or its equivalent, and a minimum of two years relative work. The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, moderate technical aptitude, and strong computer skills aptitude. The job requires willingness to work independently and very motivated. Hours may include weekends and overtime.
