Summary

The IT Inventory Control clerk role shall work directly with the IT Asset Administrator for the effective management of all IT inventories. The IT Inventory Control Clerk is expected to track all incoming and outgoing shipments of products and supplies, obtain authorization for returned items, prepare and pack those shipments. In addition, IT Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for maintaining an inventory control system for all Computers, telephone, cell phone, kiosks, printers, radios, audio visual equipment, Software licenses and all other IT Department assets.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Maintain data integrity and tracks accuracy of inventory for all IT hardware assets and software licenses.
  • Research root causes of inventory discrepancies by analyzing data from logs, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Responsible for weekly and quarterly inventory audits of IT Department storage areas.
  • Recommend and develop strategies related to inventory management in coordination with IT Asset Administrator.
  • Responsible for the organization and maintenance of inventory storage areas.
  • Verify purchase orders against shipping invoices to ensure the correct arrival of products.
  • Responsible for researching and resolving Receiving and Accounts Payable issues for IT Department purchase orders.
  • Coordinate product delivery from suppliers by tracking shipments and orders.
  • Process and tracks orders of company cell phone, radios and other IT assets.
  • Schedule vendor service calls and maintenance calls in accordance with each contract.
  • Ensure that outbound equipment repairs are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with IT Technician Manager and IT Asset Administrator to ensure that all installed software is tracked to confirm to software licenses agreements.

  • Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians enhancing the Casino’s operations in all its business endeavors.


Education / Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Previous Inventory Control experience desired.
  • Knowledge of IT equipment and supplies a plus.

Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registration

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
