The Ponderosa Internet Service Associate identifies and offers technology related support to broadband internet service subscribers. They resolve customer equipment and service issues to customers remotely and in-person by asking the right technical questions, listening carefully, taking detailed notes and accessing our team of technical experts. The Associate diagnoses technology issues through various troubleshooting activities including the use of software. This candidate is passionate about technology and can leverage their technical abilities to create positive customer experiences by solving a variety of software and hardware issues and making technical recommendations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have a natural curiosity to understand hardware and software technology, hands on experience with electronics, will possess a can-do attitude and be genuinely nice. Wage will commensurate with experience.

Accountabilities:

· Ensure all Internet trouble reports have been investigated and resolved

· Provide local product support to marketing and sales personnel

· Document and summarize trouble reports

· Document and summarize new account reports

· Provision new accounts, change existing accounts and cancel accounts utilizing designated billing software.

· Prepare, mail or deliver software to new subscribers

· Maintain accessibility for Internet Technical Support provider contact

· Maintain accessibility for customer contact

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2 year college or vocational degree in Information Services, Computer Science or related field desirable
