INTERIOR DESIGNER Job at Perkins Engineering Consultants
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time interior designer. Responsibilities include: developing unified design concepts by managing the interior design process and document development; coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultant; researching, evaluating, and selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), materials and finishes; Travel will be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture or interior design from an accredited school or college
- At least five years of relevant experience in the design of commercial, institutional, or governmental projects
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Experience with design for commercial space projects
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Assisting in the development of interiors projects from programming to completion
- Experience in Revit required
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
- Eligibility and willingness to take NCIDQ exam
