Intake Coordinator - Substance Abuse Disorders Facility

Ethan Crossing, an affiliate of NewVista Health and Wellness, is a Substance Abuse Disorders Facility offering treatment programs that have been developed to have a profoundly positive impact on the broad range of unique behavioral needs of our population.
Ethan Crossing is currently seeking an experienced individual to work in our therapeutic rehab setting as Admissions Coordinator.
The Admissions Coordinator must be flexible, with excellent customer service, and be able to answer incoming calls, answer questions regarding our program, run insurance policies and understand deductibles on commercial policies. Will need to dispatch transportation, create opportunities and input correct demographics in EMR. Responsible for updating daily census reporting accurately, follow up on potential admits daily and updating staff. Must be able to work well under pressure, have open availability, and be able to perform many different tasks in a small time frame. Prior experience in admissions and understanding of commercial policies is a must.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- CDCA Certification Preferred
- Current CPR license within 1st 6 months of employment
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a hospital or SUD Facility; behavioral health experience preferred
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
