Founded in 1997, ACI is a nationally licensed, full-service, Third-Party Administrator providing enrollment, fulfillment, and claims processing services for various insurance lines in the medical claims industry. This will be a remote based position and our office is in Collegeville, PA.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are looking to expand our Accounting department with an enthusiastic problem solver who demonstrates attention to detail and strong group insurance billing expertise as well as excellent customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide group premium billing and insurance expertise in support of the department’s efforts to effectively manage its revenue cycle to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate premium billing for insurance groups and ensure account payment for outstanding balances using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
  • Deliver superior customer service and effectively handle and respond to billing related phone and email inquiries from business partners, agents, and insureds.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to resolve issues or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with management to develop strategies for improved billing and collection of fees across multiple lines of business.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients.
  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Complete other miscellaneous accounting tasks depending on the immediate needs of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 Years group insurance billing experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent people skills to effectively provide accurate and timely responses to internal and external customers
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with business partners and work closely with them to resolve issues
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Enrollment123 is a plus
  • High school diploma required
