Marsh is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Insurance Sales Consultant with 3-5 years of sales experience to join our dynamic call center team. As an Insurance Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products to prospective customers over the phone. The primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service, understand customers' insurance needs, and offer appropriate insurance solutions to meet their requirements. This role requires strong communication skills, persuasive abilities, and a passion for helping customers make informed decisions.

What can you expect

  • Responds to difficult internal inquiries and completes requests for information in a timely manner
  • Interprets data through dashboard integration to support the sales forecasting process
  • Performs database management by maintaining databases and tracking and reporting systems.
  • Develops and manages campaigns based on client survey data and manages the progress of the campaigns
  • Identifies opportunities for campaigns through survey data that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to support client relationship management


In this role, you’ll be responsible for

  • Performs analysis on industries, prospects and clients, including statistical analysis, performance measures, sales effectiveness and works with data to achieve certain outcomes
  • Builds reporting and performs ad-hoc special analysis in response to market events, new business needs or leadership needs.
  • Engage with customers via inbound and outbound calls to promote insurance products and services.
  • Build rapport with customers, actively listen to their needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Educate customers about various insurance options, coverage details, and policy features.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products to maximize sales.
  • Performs database management by maintaining databases and tracking and reporting systems
  • Identifies opportunities for campaigns through survey data that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Provides training on Salesforce platform and on-going support for key stakeholders.
  • Organizes and supports sales-related meetings and events. (Prepares and coordinates materials as needed). Organizes and supports facilitation of zone-wide meetings and seminars.

We would like you to have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years in sales support
  • Digital experience, various systems
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, sales databases, and other relevant computer applications.
  • Abel to utilize Microsoft, Excel
  • Client Facing
