Instructor-Nursing Job at Central Ohio Technical College
Master’s Degree in Nursing, unencumbered Ohio RN license, and a minimum of two years full-time work as a registered nurse required. Broad experience in medical surgical nursing required. Recent clinical experience required.
Must have strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
Successful completion of a background check is required.

In depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
Proficient in oral and written communication in the language in which assigned courses will be taught.
Ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.

Proficiency with email.
Willingness to teach in a variety of instructional delivery modes including the use of instructional technologies and online learning management systems.

Candidates should have a broad base of clinical experience with significant work in a medical surgical environment. Prior teaching experience in a classroom and laboratory setting is highly preferred, with demonstrated competence in development of teaching/learning methodologies.
