We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual, who excels academically. An individual who possesses a strong academic background in reading and math. Good grades in Math and English/Reading are essential for job position.

Kumon is the world’s largest supplemental educational program. We are currently seeking a part-time employee for our new Fort Mill, SC location. At Kumon Math and Reading Center of Fort Mill, children build skills that lead to success inside and outside of the classroom. Kumon Math and Reading programs help children of all ages and levels become eager, independent self-learners. Kumon helps children learn how to learn on their own, and develops strong academic skills. Our students gain a sense of confidence that will help them in the classroom and beyond.

The following position is available:

Primary Instruction Assistant

Candidate should possess the following qualities:

• A passion for working with children
• A belief in each person’s unlimited potential
• A belief in the power of self-learning
• A strong academic background in reading and math
• Have strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication skills and be very patient
• Be enthusiastic and able to motivate young students
• A willingness to continually learn about the Kumon method

Candidate must be available year round on monday to thursday Compensation will be $11.00+ based on qualifications, performance and experience. Hours may increase as enrollment grows.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Experience working with children or education equivalent: 1 year
