The GradePower Learning - Ocoee location has openings for upbeat, dynamic teachers who want to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students ranging in age from Grade 9 – Grade 12, in all high school content areas, with an emphasis in the strains of Science and Math.

Our teachers:

• Offer individualized instruction, guidance and support to students to improve their core academic skills (reading, writing and/or math), thinking skills, learning strategies, and study habits

Candidates must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualifications
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, fluency in English is a must
• Strong decision making and planning skills
• Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment in Math & Science
• Experience with the Orange County Public School or local Private School curriculum (including Advanced functions, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Data Management and Trigonometry)
• Knowledge of Science, Chemistry and Physics an asset
• Strong English language skills

A dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed will enjoy this role. Interested candidates must be available 1-2 evenings per week starting at 3:30 pm and some Saturday mornings.

A commitment to the end of the current school year is also required to provide consistency to our students.
