Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As NFM’s Appliance Installer I you will assist higher level installers in providing timely and professional installation and service of appliances purchased by the customers. Achieve 100% customer satisfaction and 100% no damage to product or customer property by performing the following duties.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Monitor examine appliances during operating cycle to detect excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks, and loose parts
- Manage Explain basic operation of installed product to the customer
- Plan Obtain knowledge about gas conversion – natural to liquid petroleum
- Assist in installing electrical lines. Assist in running water lines, using copper, and installing gas lines and testing for leaks
- Collaborate in interpreting sales and delivery orders. Communicate with sales, delivery, warehouse and support staff
Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- 6 months experience in appliance service and repair
- 6 months experience in basic plumbing
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months customer contact experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must meet and/or comply with applicable standards set forth in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
- Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle check
