Position Purpose

To provide support for the sales representatives and customers by preparing product and price estimates, sales orders, and performing customer service functions. To enhance and promote the sales of Company products

This position is to provide support for the sales representatives and customers by preparing product and price estimates, sales orders, and performing customer service functions. To enhance and promote the sales of Company products

Essentials Functions:

  • Receives blueprints and/or specifications, analyzes information, develops quotations for products, and communicates quotations to customers and sales representatives.
  • Receives customer purchase orders and order confirmations, releases quotes to orders, and enters sales orders in a timely manner.
  • Confirms accuracy of orders placed by customers and expected delivery dates.
  • Provides sales support by answering telephone, determining the nature of the callers business, and assisting customers and sales representatives.
  • Works closely with manufacturer support, sales representatives, purchase agents, shop, warehouse, shipping, and service personnel to provide accurate, complete, and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Responds to customer product inquiries, complaints, and product service needs, and follows up on messages, back orders, defective material, order entry errors, and delivery errors.
  • Assists with special projects (e.g. sales, training, promotional, inventory, software programs) for the VP-Sales.
  • Participates in continuing education and training by attending sales meetings, factory tours, and trade shows.
