Responsibilities:
Workspace services provides and supports technology that empowers Principal’s workforce to communicate, collaborate and serve our customers.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide support for common productivity tools used by 25K global users
  • Deploy technology to improve our workforce productivity.
  • Basic understanding of technical aspects of infrastructure management functions including performance, capacity, scalability, recovery, maintenance, and security.
  • Focus on growing as an engineer, learning existing tools, resources, and processes. Begin to learn secure policies and standards.
  • Responsible for learning about and providing contributions to complete infrastructure systems by understanding functionality, code, usability, design, security, integration, system management, data management and operations.
  • Participates in code/design reviews and learning technical design.
  • Stay current and engaged on industry trends.
  • Assist in communicating technical concepts to business stakeholders as well as communicate business objectives to the technical team.
  • Begin gaining understanding agile process and ceremonies.
  • Be eager to provide input to team as working on feature stories.
  • Provide solutions to solve business problems.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with :
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred
  • Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required
  • Proficiency with coding/automation with PowerShell and Python.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps concepts.
  • Basic understanding of Agile processes.
  • Basic leadership skills preferred
  • Excellent time management skills preferred
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Must have the desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $49300 - $96000 / year Additional Information:
