Charge is in search of a motivated individual with analytical and process optimization skills to support our Engineering Department. This role will create and maintain department metrics, seek out and spearhead optimization efforts, and support the Engineering department's growth.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

About the position:

This is a hybrid position located either in our Concord or Sacramento office, working from home days are flexible and to be discussed with the hiring manager.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to Engineering Program Manager

Expectations: Scope of Work

  • Responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support for the Engineering Department
  • Independent administrative duties involving work that consist of a critical or confidential nature.
  • Manage and be responsible for Engineering invoicing.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure customers are billed timely and accurately.
  • Provides research, analysis, and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborates with staff within and outside the department at all organizational levels to accomplish objectives.
  • May serve as a resource to others and may orient, train, and work with other administrative staff.
  • Develop and maintain operational and individual metrics for the Engineering organization.
  • Analyze, modify, and maintain department processes.
  • Identify and oversee the implementation of automation and/or optimization of department processes and procedures.
  • Researches and collects information needed to complete project milestones and/or reports.
  • Identifies requirements for end-user systems applications and designs and implements systems and processes to allow access to data and to safeguard data integrity.
  • Ensures activities meet expectations, utilizing project management techniques and tools.
  • Participates in various special projects and provides analytical back-up support.
  • Provides administrative and project support to management using advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, and/or PowerPoint).
  • Support project tracking in Smartsheets by helping to manage existing databases and creating new ones as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience if no degree

Salary

$70-$80K depending on experience
