Job Type:
Craft/ClassicIndustrial Electrician providing maintenance in an automotive manufacturing facility. Prefer a self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated and able to work under little supervision. An excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently and provide feedback in a timely manner. We are a highly customer focused organization; as a result, overtime is required to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Ability to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment according to specifications and instructions as well as ability to read diagrams, sketches, advanced blueprints and operation manuals.
- Create and install electrical circuits for tools and plant equipment as well as test circuits in order to check for defects.
- Inspect and clean equipment and troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty equipment.
- Able to bend and run conduit (up to 4”).
- Run wiring and hook-up disconnects.
- Install, repair and/or replace switches, push buttons, circuits, panels, breakers, suppressors and transformers.
Requirements:
- Prefer a minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial setting
- Have knowledge of three-phase motors
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code
- Excellent mechanical skills required
- Ability to operate scissor lifts, fork trucks, boom lifts, lulls, and other industrial equipment safely
- Able to work at heights in a safety harness
Additional Requirements:
- Available to work any shift, to include week-ends.
- Speak, read and write fluent English
- Have a verifiable stable work history
- Successfully complete Chemical screen and thorough background checks to include Criminal History and work history
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Hard working with the ability to stay focused and pay attention to detail
- Safety conscious and able to work well with others
