In Home Support Staff Job at Vinfen
In your role you will provide training to persons served as determined by family/guardian and person served on community integration initatives including fire and safety regulations, shopping, money management, cooking, meal planning, household chores, ADLs, self-medication and other areas. You will be a responisble for monitoring person's served's proficiency in these skills and performing hands-on tasks in the program as required, in order to facilitate implementation of support plans.

Vaccine Mandate Policy
All new employees, interns, and volunteers within Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14 days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons by the first day of employment with Vinfen.- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of related experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year.
- Must become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment; must attend other trainings as needed
- Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check.
