Immigration Attorney (Of Counsel/Contract) Job at Moro Legal, LLC
We are seeking to bring a contract attorney onto our team to handle removal defense litigation in the Denver and Aurora Immigration Courts.
The arrangement would be on an independent contractor ("of counsel") basis. Attorney would manage their own caseload, advise clients, draft legal briefs and motions, and appear in immigration court for hearings.
The ideal candidate would have at least two years of experience in Immigration Court proceedings, including bond hearings, defensive asylum/withholding claims, cancellation of removal, and motions practice. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Candidates may be licensed to practice law in any U.S. state, though Colorado bar licensure is preferred, as this would allow for additional work in state courts including SIJS predicate orders and other collateral matters.
The firm offers malpractice insurance coverage, some shared staff resources, billing services, and case management software. The role is fully remote with the exception of in-person appearances at Denver and Aurora Immigration Courts when required by EOIR.
Compensation will be a percentage of fees billed and collected. The role may be ideal for an attorney looking for flexible, part-time work or a solo with an existing case load.
