RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for anImage Management Specialistto join our team. As an Image Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of image management and clinical reading functions for the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(55%) Image Management

• Provides support of image services
• Acts as an escalation point for 1stlevel Imaging Services support, taking lead on Imaging Services applications issues, seeing problems through to resolution
• Monitors and escalates as necessary critical issues reported through ticketing system

(40%) Market Support

• Serves as an interface between information technology, engineering, and radiologic technologists and Radiologists to ensure smooth functioning of the overall PACS system
• Works closely with market personnel to ensure they are properly trained and knowledgeable in image routing, archival and clinical reading functions
• Sets up and supports PACS interfaces and management services as defined by market leadership

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

• Associate's degree in an IT or health care related field
• 2+ years of related experience in radiology operations and/or health care project management
• Experience with PACS and teleradiology processes and equipment
• Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
• Clinical Technicians must have at minimum entry level IT experience or IT degree

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
• Radiologic Technologist certification
• CIIP certification
