The job of the IDD/ICF Residential Home Manager is to supervise and develop staff/resident relations in accordance with both company and State policies. This includes:

  • Reports managerial concerns to Site Director.
  • Manages day to day operations of assigned shift.
  • Ensures resident rights are protected at all times.
  • Meets with consultants as needed, to address resident issues and needs.
  • Ensures program consistency and coordination at the day program/site through regular monitoring and follow-up.
  • Assisting QIDP with the procurement and development of work tasks, leisure, and program materials. This includes developing resident’s daily schedules; ensuring schedule cards/objects are current.
  • Assist QIDP in providing ongoing feedback to Direct Support Professionals during staff meetings.
  • Assist QIDP in providing training for staff in programs, program documentation and maintains record of training.
  • Supervise all direct care staff on shift, ensuring all household procedures and learning programs are followed (including timesheet monitoring, filing employee injury reports, conducting personnel reviews, approving time off and submitting PARs).
  • Complete any necessary disciplinary actions and maintaining communication with HR and Site Director on staff concerns.
  • Maintain coverage and monitor all documentation to ensure accuracy and ensure completion.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain assigned areas of responsibilities for staff.
  • Report allegations of abuse and neglect to internal investigations team.
  • Attend Quarterly meeting and provide input on progress as needed.
  • Provide communication with residents’ families as needed.

Monitor household and vehicle health and safety, and report any concerns to Facilities immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
