Job Title: IT Technician

Function: Technical Operations/IT

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Information Systems Manager

Location: Tipp City, Ohio

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will join our existing team. As a member of the IT Team, you will install and maintain computer systems and network equipment. A successful IT Technician must develop a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The IT mission is to enable efficient production lifecycle management (order to delivery) through reliable and repeatable technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities Include:

· Day to day primary Help Desk support

· Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

· Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality

· Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications

· Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

· Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment

· Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

· Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

· Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

· Identify computer or network equipment shortages and recommend orders

Job Requirements

· Proven experience (3-5 years) as an IT Technician or relevant position

Three (3) years of business experience with Windows Support in a business environment

· Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

· Excellent communication ability

· Organizational and time-management skills

· Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility

· Attention to detail skills

· Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time

Work Environment

While performing job duties, there would be required time on the production floor where there would be exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and a loud noise level.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending all day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and when needed up to 70 lbs.
