We are currently looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team and become an integral part of our company's future!

Required Qualifications:

  • Layout and install refrigeration piping.
  • Layout and install low voltage wiring.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on residential equipment without supervision, including completion of checklist in full.
  • Diagnose most system problems, present repair replace options effectively.
  • Perform all recommended repairs.
  • Acquire State of Washington 06A low voltage electrical license.
  • Show completion of EPA Universal refrigerant handling certification.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
  • Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance.
  • Advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers.

Additional Requirements

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, department managers, customers, and the general public.

Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, charts, etc.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This position is frequently required to: drive a motor vehicle, stand, walk, reach and climb; grasp and lift at least 10-50 lbs. This position is frequently required to: use hands to finger, handle, or feel; sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, lift, and crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

During a typical day, time spent indoors can vary and generally equals 6 hours; time spent outside generally equals 4 hours. Temperature and humidity are at a normal range while inside and are dependent on external weather conditions when outside. Special hazards may include gas, electrical, moving mechanical parts, cleaning agents, dust and unconditioned spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
