POSITION: Human Resource Supervisor


REPORTS TO: Administrator


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Human Resource Supervisor is required to know all aspects of Homecare Human Resource functions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resource supervisor is responsible for scheduling fingerprints appointment for home health aides and overseeing the functions of the HR department including ensuring all employees abide by the policy and preocedure of the company.


EQUIPMENT OPERATION:

Office equipment, Computer, Telephones and Files.

CUSTOMER SERVICE/INTERPERSONAL SKILL

1. Assists Human Resource staff when needed.

2. Is responsible and cooperative with Supervisors/Managers/Directors, paraprofessionals, Personal Assistants and visitors.

3. Maintains friendly working atmosphere.

4. Maintains professional attitude.

5. Maintains professional appearance

6. Accepts constructive criticism as evidenced by appropriate changes in behavior.

7. Utilizes established channels of communication

8. Recognizes, accepts and respects people as individuals

9. Recognizes limitations and seeks assistance appropriately

10. Leads by example

11. Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers

12. Provides customers with opportunity for feedback on a regular basis


SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

1. Demonstrates knowledge of management principles and human relation skills necessary to direct and supervise staff.

2. Demonstrates ability to manage and solve various issues.

4. Demonstrates knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and HHA Exchange.

5. Demonstrates ability to write concise reports.

6. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with various staff .
