JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources/Staffing Coordinator will assist in daily administrative and clerical tasks relating to the employer/employee relationship. This position will also manage the schedule for nurses, CNA's and other clinical staff. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, communication skills and proficient knowledge in computers. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to make sure you are confident in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as an adviser for HR related questions or redirects to the appropriate person
• Process new hire paperwork and background checks
• Provides passwords and access as needed for new employees
• The Human Resources/Staffing Coordinator will arrange the correct resources for unemployment claims
• Makes sure all required employment and labor law posters are displayed within the facility
• Ensures HR documents including status changes, performance evaluations, promotions and termination paperwork are filled out timely and correctly
• Makes sure HR policies, job descriptions, employee handbooks remain up to date
• Assists or manages payroll process if needed by facility
• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly clinical staff schedules
• Ensure vacant positions are filled to meet staffing requirements
• Creates and maintains required staffing reports
• Assists with recruitment efforts including pre-screening candidates, interviewing and background/reference checks
• Coordinates new hire orientation
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
Previous Human Resources and/or Staffing experience preferred
