We are seeking an inquisitive, keen attention to detail and a problem solving HR Generalist. In this highly visible role, you will work closely with others as a critical employee success partner. The primary responsibility is to deliver best-in-class HR support. What you'll be doing:

  • Culture and Change Champion: As part of the People Function, embody and emulate our core values. In collaboration with other colleagues, advocate for and influence adoption and sustainment of corporate initiatives.
  • Employee and Manager Inquiries: Respond to and resolve employee and manager inquiries for HR support. Directly fulfill the needs using established processes and/or direct employees to appropriate contacts for support. Requests will vary and could be related to matters such as payroll, benefits, training, qualifying event/benefits changes, FMLA leave or Worker’s Compensation claims.
  • Transactions Processing and Records Management Support: As the primary responsible team member for processing employee transactions and accurate data integrity management, must ensure compliance with applicable internal processes, applicable local, state, and federal laws as well as GDPR while performing assigned work duties. Work diligently to ensure data integrity is maintained throughout for forms, processes, and systems of record. Transactions will include new employee onboarding, ensure completion of new employee background checks, verify I-9 documentation, and work visa sponsorship forms. Transactions will vary and include timely processing of the new hire requests, internal changes and promotions, requests for training and development, employer relations related or and termination/offboarding activities.
  • Process Improvement: Employee has an opportunity to build out, modify and continuously improve how we deliver exceptional HR support. Expected to adhere to existing policies and processes, but also with a lens to continuously improve what we have/do until it is as excellent as it can be. As an example, this role is responsible for participation in the successful migration of existing forms and processes (New Hire Request, Internal Changes and Separation) to a central HRIS in 2023.

What you'll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision required
  • Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures; meet deadlines/due dates
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with colleagues in multiple time zones as needed
  • Able to make decisions that are compatible with goals and priorities; determine significance of all pros/cons and the likelihood of success.
  • Proficient understanding of business technology tools including Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, project management, expense reporting, and additional tools as needed.
  • 3+ years of experience in prior human resources support or operational role

Preferred candidates will also have:

  • Active SHRM or PHR certification
