Dr. C Family Dentistry is expanding and we are looking for individuals that would like to help us take our practice to the next level! Currently we are looking for a Human Resource Generalist.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, and recommend short-list hires to the Doctor/Clinical Administrator.
  • Conduct orientation sessions, arrange on-the-job training for new hires and assess compliance of new hires with established learning curve goals.
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Train workers in proper human resource procedures and functions, and explain company policies in conjunction with the company’s outside human resource support advisors.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for the office.
  • Review, prepare, and evaluate key performance indicators (i.e. turnover) and schedules to recommend improvements to operational efficiencies as they relate to the overall productivity and human resource functions.
  • Coordinate and approve staffing, scheduling and vacation requests, in conjunction with the Doctor/Clinical Administrator.
  • Conduct regular company meetings in conjunction with Doctor/Clinical Administrator.
  • Serve as an intermediary between management and line staff.
  • Conduct internal investigations and report findings.
  • Serve as Company HIPAA Safety and Privacy Officer.
  • Ensure company compliance with employment laws.
  • Observe and evaluate workers' appearance and performance to ensure quality service and compliance with specifications including preparing and issuing performance appraisals.
  • Review and approve Management appraisals of line staff and employee discipline in conjunction with the Doctor/Clinical Administrator.
  • Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
  • Must maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies.
  • Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments for self and subordinates.
  • Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
  • Occasionally there may be some travel, by car or plane, required in order to participate in continuing education or seminars.
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.

  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
  • Must be flexible and understand that job duties may change from time to time and that this individuals may be asked to assist in other areas of the office.
  • Must demonstrate good reading comprehension by understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills by talking to others to convey information effectively.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour based on experience
