Location: Oakdale, MN (Please note: this is position is 100% in person)

Pay Scale: $40,000 - $55,000 based on skills and experience


Purpose Statement:

The role of the Human Resources Generalist is to identify, retain, improve and promote talent so that Bridges MN is able to provide the best possible level of service to the people that we serve as a company through training and support of all supervisors while maintaining industry compliance with all company policies.


HR Generalist Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)

  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
  • Responsible for new hire orientation and training for employees
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns
  • Staying compliant on annual training and new hire training for all staff
  • Entering new hires and status changes into the HRIS system
  • Rolling out new policies, procedures, and benefits information
  • Assisting staff and Residential Supervisors with our scheduling system (WIW)
  • Monitoring over-time

HR Generalist Required Skills and Experience:

  • Human Resources: 2 years minimum requirement
  • Recruitment: 1 year minimum requirement

Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PHR certification
