Job Description:
Job Summary:
The HR/Payroll Compliance Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the HR Operations/Payroll business operation is compliant based on regulatory and internal policies, processes, and programs.
This role will function as a subject matter expert and will research regulations and policies and communicate impact analysis, recommendations, and necessary requirements.
Leads associated initiatives, including creating communications, process and procedure guides, training materials, and other change management mechanisms to educate stakeholders on new and revised policies, processes, and programs.
Responsible for self-identifying, reporting, developing and implementing solutions for operational risks.
Performs analysis of payroll processes and practices, in addition to conducting and preparing for internal and external audits.
Administers the SAFE Act program ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities also include responding to all statistical and compliance reporting and tax notices, new state tax ID requests, and subpoenas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, - Abilities:
Supervisory experience and/or ability to effectively lead or direct others.
HR business process experience.
Ability to make good decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
HR reporting experience .
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and HRIS system experience.
100% remote work.
