The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role is responsible for directly impacting the LCNW employee experience and driving culture through providing consultative expertise and guidance on people-related programs including talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational engagement, and other various people initiatives. This role keeps focus on acting as an employee advocate, upholding organizational values, and helping to foster a culture of inclusivity. The role is responsible for aligning and executing people strategies in line with business objectives in designated business units. The position will build strong partnerships and collaborate across the HR function and leaders to contribute towards LifeCenter’s values-based culture.

General Responsibilities

  • Build trusted and consultative relationships with leaders, cross-functional partners and HR team members
  • Understand key business priorities facing the organization, challenges and perspectives from both leader and employee point of view to inform and support driving people related strategies and decisions
  • Provide guidance, coaching and facilitation on people related programs and processes, including talent management, people development, performance management, employee engagement, compensation planning, organizational development, change management, team effectiveness and employee relations
  • Champion and advocate for employee voice and perspective to support success, growth and a culture of inclusion. Support employees through having an open-door approach.
  • Leverage people data to inform development and decisions relating to people strategies, proactively make recommendations related but not limited to attrition.
  • Participate in the development, enhancements, and rollout of people-related programs, processes, and policies in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide counsel and guidance on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Lead and conduct thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Support HR Director on organization-wide efforts.
  • Champion and support LifeCenter’s focus on living a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.
  • Participate and lead projects and programs as needed.

Supervision

  • This position has no formal supervisory responsibility. The position does serve as an advisor and consultant for the organization and coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Experience in consulting, coaching, and guiding leaders through various people practices and programs, including (not limited to) performance management, compensation practices, employee relations.
  • Experienced in acting as an employee advocate, upholding organizational values, and fostering a culture of inclusivity
  • Strong experience with leading and resolving employee relations and conducting investigations.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations with the ability to apply into people practices and programs.
  • Ability to use data to identify insights and turn into actionable plans.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated experiences in critical thinking, influencing and strategic problem solving
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust, diplomacy and collaboration at all levels
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in driving diversity and inclusion work is preferred
  • Ability to work successfully as a team member and independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience working with an HRIS system

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and four years of human resource experience; or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • PHR designation, SHRM CP or equivalent preferred
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues required
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and access to an insured automobile or the ability to arrive and depart from work and work-related functions at expected times.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, or applicable medical or religious exemption will be required as a condition of employment upon offer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
