We are looking for Housekeeping IV on a full-time basis based out of our Orangevale location. This is a night-shift position which may keep your days open!

• • Sun 9 pm - Mon 530 am; Mon 9 pm - Tue 530 am; Tue 9 pm - Wed 530 am; Wed 9 pm - Thur 530 am; Thur 9 pm - Fri 530 am

Job Summary:

Ensures all areas of clubs within region are regularly deep clean and organized; emphasizing floors, showers, saunas, steam rooms, indoor courts, ceilings and carpets; follows all safety precautions and warnings for self, coworkers and members while cleaning

Accountabilities:

• Deep cleans clubs within region as assigned using specialized equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, sealers, scrubbers and others
• Ensures safe conditions are maintained while cleaning such as safety and warning sign placement
• Manages and reports on cleaning product inventory and equipment status
• Follows all product indications and warning labels
• Regularly reviews the SDS
• Assists members of all ages with general questions and concerns
• Opens and/or closes the club as required
• Conducts locker room checks and other actions to ensure a clean club
• Travels to clubs within region during the work day ensuring each club is consistently visited over time
• Follows all health and safety requirements such as, but not limited to, physical distancing, regular surface cleaning, cough/sneeze etiquette, regular hand washing, and not coming to work when sick
• Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided, asking questions for any topic not clearly understood
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
• Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year experience at California Family Fitness Housekeeping or 2 years of professional housekeeping experience
• Floor and tile deep cleaning experience preferred
• Current CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification (within 60 days of employment, company provided)

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to organize cleaning products and establish daily priorities
• Ability to understand SDS
• Ability to travel to multiple clubs during the same work day
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methodology
