Housekeepers/Laundry Aide Job at United Helpers
We are seeking both full and part-time housekeeping and laundry aides to work at United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton.
Responsibilities for housekeeping aides include maintaining an inventory of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, sweeping, mopping, wet-washing, and vacuuming floors, as well as washing walls, windows and woodwork. Dusting of offices and other common areas is also required. Housekeeping aides must also clean all bathrooms in the facility and fill soap, paper towels and toilet paper dispensers on a daily basis.
Other duties may include cleaning spills and any messes on the floors or walls which necessitate immediate clean-up, cleaning resident rooms upon discharge, and assisting in moving residents personal belongings for transfers or discharges.
Laundry Aides are responsible for collecting, returning and laundering resident clothing, linens, and other textile items from around the facility.
