Housekeeper/Room Attendant Job at Comfort Inn & Suites/MainStay Suites
We are looking for a hard-working and self-motivated individual to join our team as a housekeeper. We believe in providing consistency for our guests and staff members and work hard to keep a clean, quiet, and amicable atmosphere. Come join our positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform all work assigned according to hotel policies.
- Clear communication with front desk and housekeeping supervisor.
- Report any issues in the rooms to the front desk (damaged items, inoperative appliances or fixtures, leaking sink or shower, etc.)
- Return any items left in the rooms to the front desk with labels marking which room the item was removed from.
- Keep a clean and organized housekeeping cart.
- Restock housekeeping cart after each use.
- Remove dirty linens and towels from each assigned room, send them down for laundering and replace with clean items.
- Clean bathroom and sink area thoroughly.
- Replace guest room amenities and supplies in correct quantities.
- Remove all trash and replace trash bags. Also ensure trash bins and recycling bins are clean after each use.
- Dust and clean marks from walls and furnishings.
- Vacuum all areas of each assigned room.
- Check to ensure appliances are present and in working order in each room assigned.
- Comply with quality expectations and standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
