Housekeeper Job at The Institute for Family Health
SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, performs routine housekeeping duties as well as minor repairs when needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledgeable about and follows infection control/universal precautions
- Appropriately uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Employee completes daily assignment checklist
- Ensures that waste generated within the health care facility is collected, transported and disposed of properly
- Participates in the departments performance improvement activities
- Maintains patient /employee confidentiality in the management of information
- Displays courtesy, tact, and patience during interactions with all members of the staff and extended community.
- Is punctual and maintains a satisfactory attendance record
- Employee uses equipment and supplies appropriately
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of (1) year experience working as a Housekeeper preferred
- Experience with cleaning equipment including floor buffers and waxers
