JOB TITLE: HOUSEKEEPER
ALSO KNOWN AS: Attendant Housekeeper, Country Club Custodian
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Director
POSITION AVAILABLE November 1 through May 1
POSITION SUMMARY
Estero Country Club is seeking a Housekeeper position. The responsibility of a Housekeeper includes: Cleaning and polishing light fixtures, surfaces and trim. Cleans hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. Sweeping, and cleaning floors, rugs, and carpets. Trash disposal and replenish bathroom supplies. This position works in and outdoors in public areas. Starting pay is $10.00-$14.00 per hour working from 6:00 AM until 2:30 PM. If you have a stable work history, please apply. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Director.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
· $10-$14/hr
