Every day will be fun in the sun as you supervise aquatic activities at the lake to ensure that company policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the water
  • Advise swimmers of improper activities or danger in accordance with company regulations and water safety policies.
  • Administers first aid in the event of injury rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
  • Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of all guests, in the event of an emergency
  • Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of guest service
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • 1+ years' lifeguard experience preferred
  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, and evenings
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Highly skilled in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
  • Strong knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedure
  • Ability to accurately prepare routine administrative paperwork
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Local/State Public Health guidelines, Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Wearing an appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is an essential part of your job
  • Comply with providing a clean and sanitary environment throughout the High LmitAll work and related duties are to be performed in compliance with local and state codes

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or equivalent
  • American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent
  • American Red Cross Standard First Aid, or equivalent
