Hourly PALS Creative Arts Therapist (temporary). Job at Catholic Charities - Diocese of Trenton
JOB SUMMARY: It is the function of this position to render counseling services to victims of domestic violence and their families. The therapist will work primarily with children. The service is provided via group, individual and family therapy (as needed) and is based upon a thorough psychosocial evaluation. Evening availability required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assessment functions for PALS, including provision of and thorough analysis of assessments administered at predetermined times during treatment
- Maintain continuous communication with PALS clients and their parents
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date records
- Thorough, accurate, and timely completion of paperwork and reports
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Provide client advocacy and referral services
- Participate in weekly case management meetings
- Participate in Clinical Peer Supervision as scheduled
- Participate in client activities
- Participate in Providence House functions
- Supervise graduate student interns, as needed
OTHER DUTIES: as assigned
