Six new dining and drinking venues, developed in partnership with the founders of Miami’s uber-popular Coyo Taco and 1-800-LUCKY, include Como Como, a marisquería (seafood restaurant) and raw bar; Mezcalista, a sexy mezcal lounge; Serena, an open-air rooftop restaurant and bar with a laid-back yet sophisticated vibe; Los Buenos, a taco stand/bodega in the lobby, complemented by Bar Moxy, which does double duty as a social hub and check-in area; and The Upside, a rooftop bar on the eighth floor for hotel guests and private events.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Marketing Manager oversees Moxy South Beach’s robust marketing efforts, both for the hotel and its food and beverage venues, which include Como Como Marisqueria, Serena Rooftop, Mezcalista, Los Buenos, Bar Moxy, and The Upside. The ideal marketing lead has hospitality marketing experience and could hit the ground running spearheading marketing and programming efforts for the upcoming Moxy South Beach hotel and the food and beverage venues within it. This position will report to Lightstone’s Chief Marketing Officer, the General Manager of Moxy South Beach, and the F&B Operations Director. The position will also receive support from the Lightstone Moxy & Coyo Taco marketing teams.

Programming and Partnerships:
  • F&B Programming: Strategize and execute on F&B marketing programming (mezcal tastings, cocktail classes, etc.) and promotions (happy hours, etc.); manage all internal and external event marketing
  • Hotel Events & Pop Ups: ideate and execute on monthly programming calendar, including recurring programming (weekly SweatAtMoxy classes with local fitness partners, Pop-Ups and Workshops for guests and locals), including managing annual programming budget.
  • Attend hotel and restaurant events as needed to provide marketing support.
  • Partnerships: Identify on-brand marketing partnerships that are accretive to the hotel and F&B and assist and execute all current partner events
  • Brand Ambassador: Assist in generating ideas and maintaining overall hotel “vibe” including scent, music, swag, and retail offerings
Creative Services:
  • Graphics: With support of graphic designer, execute / manage graphic design needs for web, print, and on-property marketing materials (i.e. event flyers, social media content, presentation updates, in-room TVs, lobby display, etc.)
  • Sales/Marketing Presentations: Work with graphic designer to maintain and update marketing / sales presentations.
  • Photoshoots: Develop shot lists, oversee content shoots (lifestyle and F&B), coordinate talent
Digital:
  • Social Media: Manage and support social media agency with content creation, influencer relations, and community engagement opportunities, including regularly reviewing content calendars, generating original social content, and providing guidance on social ad creative
  • Digital Ads and SEO: Manage and support paid ad opportunities on Instagram and all SEO efforts with agency partners. Provide regular reports detailing traction and success of all paid ads and SEO efforts.
  • Open Table: generate and manage Open Table promotions and marketing efforts to maximize restaurant visibility. Track success using Open Table reporting.
  • Hotel and Food & Beverage Web Sites: Assist with gathering content for website updates and auditing websites to maximize performance
  • Guest Touchpoints: Monitor guest facing touchpoints to ensure new & accurate information is updated across platforms; provide new information updates to key partners
  • Packages: Work with revenue team and GM to conceptualize and execute revenue-generating and press-worthy packages
PR / COMMS:
  • Guest Communications: Support GM / Sales with external & internal communication needs (pre-arrival emails, guest notifications, etc.)
  • Media and Influencer Engagement: Coordinate F&B offerings, personalized amenities and property experiences
  • PR Agency Management: pitch PR-worthy programming for hotel and F&B, work with agency on partnerships
Skills / Experience:
  • At least 3-4 years Marketing Experience
  • Strong Written & Organizational skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, MS Word, Instagram and Eventbrite required
  • Hospitality / F&B experience required
