ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant

Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables and provide menus for all patrons

Keep front desk and waiting area clean

Ensure menus remain stocked

Help waitstaff by getting water for customers, as needed

Help busser clear and reset tables as necessary

Set out necessary signage in key areas

Maintain professional appearance at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior restaurant experience preferred

Must be at least 18 years of age.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Able to work a variety of shifts- nights, weekends, and some holidays

Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift and remain calm during heavy volume periods.

Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations

Excellent customer service skills - Friendly and outgoing personality
