Job summary:
The Host / Hostess / Busser / Food Runner will be responsible for greeting members, walking members to their table, answering the phone, managing reservations, assisting servers to make sure members receive their meals in a timely manner and clearing and cleaning tables. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to work quickly while multi-tasking. If you are a people-person who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere and giving great service…this is the job for you!
Responsibilities
? Welcoming guests to the clubhouse and escorting them to their tables.
? Providing accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists and reservations.
? Maintain a clean reception area & monitor the reservation system.
? Assist wait staff with table setting, placing and replacing tableware.
? Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
? Sanitizing all tables in accordance with Covid-19 protocols.
? Delivering food to members at the proper table at the proper time.
? Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station.
Qualifications
? Prior experience working in a restaurant setting preferred but not required.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Must be able to speak clearly and distinctively over the phone and in person.
? Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
? Comfortable with working with computers.
? Able to stand for extended periods of time and, if needed, can lift up to 25 pounds.
? The ideal candidate will have the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
? Texas Food handler’s certification.
