Hospice Development Specialist Somerset County Job at Embracing HospiceCare
Embracing HospiceCare is currently looking for Hospice Development Specialists (HDS) to cover Somerset County. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing. This is a full-time, outside sales position. Primary responsibilities include meeting with key contacts in long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, physician offices, hospitals as well as other sources in order to generate referrals. The HDS will also be expected to promote the company within the community.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of two years outside sales experience, preferably in health care.
· Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Above average interpersonal and persuasive skills.
· Ability to make effective presentations to large and small audiences.
· Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
· Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability automobile insurance.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct eight to ten quality face to face calls per day.
· Achieve monthly quota.
· Conduct one lunch & learn per week minimum.
· Attend a bi-monthly marketing meeting at main office in Wall, NJ.
· Formulate a quarterly sales business plan.
· Conduct two activities per week in facilities.
· Attend networking meetings and planned facility events.
· Be available for one weekend on-call per month.
· Conduct facility and doctor in-services as needed or requested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
