Do you enjoy working with people and possess skills working with adults and have knowledge in child development? The Resource Connection is looking for a candidate that enjoys variety in their day, has a passion for supporting parents in Calaveras County from diverse socio-economic backgrounds as the primary educator of their child, and has demonstrated the ability to organize and schedule home visits to meet the needs of the families enrolled, and work independantly with minimal supervison..

The ability to see strength in all situations with a non-judgmental lense is required. The successful candidate will work closely with Health and Human Services and the Community in recruiting and enrolling qualifying families for the Early Childhood Programs.

The Early Childhood Program Home Visitor engages families by supporting parents of children zero to three in promoting positive growth and development using the home as the primary learning environment. The Home Visitor utilizes screening and assessment tools and engages with families in recognizing and setting goals, identifying strategies to meet the goals of individual children and the family unit, empowering them to obtain the resources they need to lead healthy lives.

Our Team of Home Visitors work together in planning and presenting three group socializations each month to facilitate social opportunities for both parents and children enrolled in the Home Visiting programs.

Regular Full Time Position: Monday Friday 32 hours per week


Pay Range: $ 15.80 - $ 17.00


Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefit package. Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field

Required 12 Units in Early Child Education (including core courses) or related field or CDA

3 Units related to infant/toddler development preferred

Minimum of 1 to 3 years demonstrated competency working with families and children

Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred

Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Special Requirements:

Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage

Health Screening, proof of current negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot

Covid-19 vaccine required

Must certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR and have California Health and Safety Certificate

Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as company business requires
