Home Care Nurse for 15-Yr old Boy (new grads ok) Job at Singer-Torres Family
Attentive home care nurse sought to care for our medically-complex, 15-yr old. Disabilities include seizure disorder, movement disorder, hypotonia, restrictive lung disease, cortical visual impairment, scoliosis. He is g/j-tube fed.
Duties: administration of medications and feeds, respiratory treatment (nebs, chest PT vest, cough assist), urinary catheterization, oral suctioning, diapering and shower. Day shifts are active - include transfers into therapeutic equipment, outdoor time, and assistance with communication technology. A lift system is available.
Requirements: Interest or experience working with medically complex patients. Be highly organized, proactive, and able to effectively multi-task. Cleanliness and attention to detail a high priority. Active candidates who enjoy outdoors, movement, physical activities are strongly encouraged. Training will be provided.
Multiple openings:
* weekday/weekend nights (8p-8a) *SAT NIGHTS HIGH NEED. 1-2/month or weekly
* weekday afternoons/evenings 1:30-8:00pm *MONDAY AFTS/EVES HIGH NEED
* Sunday days (8a-8p) 2x/month *HIGH NEED. Hrs can be adjusted if needed.
* weekdays when no school (8a-3:30p) Vacations, appointments, etc.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $56.00 - $62.00 per hour

Patient, family members and all providers are vaccinated and boosted. Nurses bring their own masks. Gloves provided.
