$10.15 per hour + tips

Provides excellent guest service while making quality, hand-crafted beverages.- Responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas, gelatos, and menu items.
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks, such as espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques.
- Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments; transports monies to and from the main Credit cage.
- Delivers guest orders.
- Ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responds to guest complaints.
- Maintains equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products.
- Maintains a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others; must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
- Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Previous Starbucks/barista experience an asset.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
