RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attach (Hi-Tec) machine to the meat pump
• Review production schedule to determine proper set-up
• Inspect equipment, check all parts for any damage, or leakage
• Assemble equipment according to product run, including performing lock/tagout as required
• Conduct first piece inspection to ensure conformance to product specifications, checking the diameter, length, weight, twist, causing breakage, and evidence for air pockets
• Conduct operational audits every 15 minutes throughout production to ensure proper product specifications
• Check for accuracy of scales
• Hang product according to pattern specifications and proper procedures
• Responsible for removing, cleaning, and safety storing meter gears
• Assist new employees and trainees in learning proper methods and procedures
• Complete other duties assigned

• To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos in English
• Must have basic mathematical skills
• Capable of regularly lifting and /or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work on production floor; a wet, cold, and loud environment
• Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
