Helpdesk Support Technician Tier 1-Lyon Waugh Auto Group Job at Lyon-Waugh Auto Group
The Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is seeking a Tier 1 Helpdesk Representative for our growing IT department.
Reporting to the IT Director and working with IT team, the main responsibility of the Helpdesk Representative is to deliver first-in-class technical support to over 500 team members. This is not a remote position.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems on PCs and laptops by working directly with employees. This includes hands on desk side, remote access, email, and phone support.
- Document problem details and communicate through our ticket system.
- Image and deploy computers for new hires and also hardware refreshes.
- Deploy peripheral hardware such as IP phones, printers, copiers, monitors and card readers
- Deploy iPads and other mobile devices using our mobile device management platforms
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Associate's degree in IT/Certification or equivalent work experience
- Reliable vehicle to travel between locations in Peabody MA, Nashua NH, and Bedford NH.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Troubleshooting experience with PC hardware, Windows and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle high-volume user needs
- Other tasks assigned by the IT Director
