Position Summary:
This is a non-exempt position located in our Richmond Facility. This resource will provide technical on-site support to the Richmond facility’s network users, including general software installation, documentation, and troubleshooting on a variety of hardware (facility servers, PCs and laptops). The position primarily works with end users and assists with PC based software applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides administration, maintenance and troubleshooting for 50+ desktops, 100+ laptops and 5+ servers.
    • Coordinates additions, moves, upgrades (hardware and software) for facility users.
    • Administrative responsibilities related to Network and Server monitoring including server back ups.
    • Maintains databases of facility hardware, software assets and help desk activities.
    • Recommends hardware / software and telecommunication equipment upgrades that are consistent with the Company’s needs.
    • Assists users with Microsoft Office Applications and other internal Wine Warehouse applications
    • Performs administration and maintenance for voicemail/phone and e-mail applications.
    • Develop documentation and training material as needed.
    • Monitor established network policies and procedures to ensure conformance with Information Technology and Company objectives.
    • Backup for Help Desk South

Position Requirements:

    • Strong Windows PC and Server Operating System skills (Win 10, Server 2016, 2019, MS Office, Google Workspace and TCP/IP)
    • A qualified candidate should have one to two years of experience. An associate’s degree is preferred.
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
    • Ability to quickly access and understand issues and provide PC directions over the phone.
    • Great problem solving ability along with good teamwork and communication skills.
    • Ability to perform under minimum supervision.
Physical Standards: Must be able to walk, bend, reach and lift, if necessary (average 50 pounds or more). The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a high energy, multi-faceted position requiring personal initiative, flexibility and some routine travel mainly within Northern California.
