Help Desk Technician Job at MAFE Resources
IT Specialist: client is a full-service quality-driven construction management and general contracting firm.
Responsibilities
o Help maintain and service Servers, Laptops and Workstations
o Maintain the hard-wired and wireless networks
o Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards and printers on user premises
o Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications
o Setup and maintain all remote job sites for IT services, including setting up a hardware VPN if necessary
o Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements
o Provide remote and in-person help desk support to end-users
o Coordinate activities with network services and information systems groups
o Provide updates, statuses, and completion information to manager and/or users, via voicemail, e-mail or in-person communication
o Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
o Maintain the Print server
o Troubleshoot user printing issues
o Administer Office 365 e-mail and Carbon Black anti-virus systems
o Maintain Acronis and Rapid Recovery backup systems for servers
o Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
o Administer the access control system
o Track inventory of IT equipment and supplies
o Order equipment and supplies for IT department as needed
Qualifications
o EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent required
o 2 years of relevant experience required
o Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Rapid Recovery, Acronis and Carbon Black required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
