Rogers Group is seeking candidates for a HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR position for our Burns Quarry and Hickman County Quarry, located in Burns, TN and Bon Aqua, TN.

The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – such as a wheel loader, dozer, track hoe, and haul trucks. This individual will also be required to work on the ground and in the plant as needed. Welding and fixed plant repair experience is a plus, but not required. They must have a strong commitment to safety excellence.

Wages starting at $20.00/hr. for entry-level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Higher pay for experienced and skilled operators or candidates with quarry experience. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits are offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices.

• At least one year of proficient experience operating heavy equipment preferred.

• Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – wheel loader, dozer, track hoe, and/or haul trucks.

• Willing and able to work on the ground and in the plant as needed.

• Able and willing to assist with fixed plant maintenance.

• Able to operate heavy equipment with precision and excellence in a variety of terrains and conditions.

• Performing various production duties.

• Complete required daily inspections, light maintenance, greasing, and fueling of heavy equipment.

• May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.

• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as may be needed.

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
