It will be temporarily located in the heart of Old Brighton for its first year.

Ascent Classical Academies is currently hiring a health technician and health aide for its new campus opening in August 2023 and serving grades K through 6. The health technician works closely with the school nurse consultant to provide appropriate care for ill or injured students, complete clerical tasks related to such incidents, and communicate regarding incidents with parents. The health technician oversees the care of students with medical considerations and is also responsible for communicating students’ essential medical information to teachers.

The health aide supports the administrative tasks of the health office, working under the supervision of the health technician.

Desired Start Date: August 1, 2023 (flexible)

Compensation Range and Particulars: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour for health technician, depending on experience and qualifications; $17.50-$19.00 per hour for health aide, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule and Classification: Part-Time (flexible up to hours per week)
