Our Health Policy Benefits Branch is currently seeking a Health Program Specialist II supporting the CalPERS Long-Term Care Program by overseeing the CalPERS Long-Term Care third-party administrator and projects, while also coordinating Requests for Proposals, acting as communication lead for external correspondence, creating board agenda items, monitoring related legislation at the Federal and State Level, and driving our CalPERS mission.

The Health Policy Benefits Branch oversees the Health Benefits Program for CalPERS, providing health coverage for members and their families. The Strategic Health Operations Division (SHOD) oversees the CalPERS Long-Term Care Program, conducts healthcare cost and utilization research, provides analytic support for CalPERS annual health plan premium negotiations, and coordinates management information services for the CalPERS health benefits program.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $6,658.00 - $8,334.00 per month
