SUMMARY
Lead the team of Project Controllers for North America. Cooperate cross functional with Key account, Project Management, Purchase and Plant Controlling on commercial planning activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
  • Lead and Coordinate month end closing Activities
  • Prepare deviation analysis and provide action plan with the Side Management
  • Lead and coordinate Performance reviews with Side management and Project Management
  • Prepare and coordinate financial short and midterm planning for the R&D Center and R&D Projects
  • Prepare year end closing activities and coordinate with finance
  • Oversee and lead investment planning for the R&D Center
  • Responsible for maintaining Complete month end settlement costs for from Validation Management System (VAMAS), prototype shop, and Integra projects.
  • Gross functional work with other departments to improve SAP and BW based systems and processes
  • Coordinate interna and external Audits
Project Controlling
  • Review of yearly FACTON update (i.e. labor rates, overheads, machine rates)
  • Analyze regional and product segment BU customer project portfolio, identify potential improvement areas and drive optimization measurement definition and implementation
  • Economic evaluation and participation in release of quotations (MSPs)
  • Lead and develop the Project Controller/ Commercial Planner regional / segment BU Customer Projects team capabilities and effectiveness
  • Improvement of quotation and planning processes and quality for quotation calculations
  • Support sales and Project Management regarding economic aspects to negotiate with customers
  • Continuously improves the calculation basis and assists in the development of calculation standards (controlling)
  • Coordination of transitions between acquisition, development, series standard and actual calculation

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree In Business or Sciences required; MBA preferred
  • +5 years of experience in a financial analysis and/or cost estimating role
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • Proficient in SAP/Business Warehouse
  • Experience with R&D Controlling Software prefered
  • Understanding of corporate and unit policies and procedures
  • Advanced Excel skills a must; experience with Microsoft Office tools required
  • Strong systems skills/aptitude; learning on the fly
  • Ability to balance detail analysis with ‘bigger picture’
  • Proven critical thinking skills
  • Experience leading a team preferred
  • Experience with FACTON preferred
